David Guttenfelder had a great Instagram feed of North Korea photos. Now he has a great feed of Wisconsin photos.

I started following AP photographer David Guttenfelder’s Instagram feed after I read a write-up about it in Gawker. Guttenfelder, AP’s chief Asia photographer, was in North Korea then, and his work there has been humanizing and empathetic while also getting at the sad loneliness of life in a totalitarian state.

The North Korea Instagram photos are incredible and you should look at them, for example this one and this one and this one and this one.

But Guttenfelder has lately been posting images from another exotic locale: Northwoods, Wisconsin. His wife is from Neenah, according to this, and he comes back from Asia every summer to vacation in Three Lakes, near Eagle River.
