Public invited to Downtown Hotel ribbon-cutting

The partners behind the $16 million acquisition and renovation of the downtown Oshkosh hotel will cut the ribbon on the revamped property at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 2.

More than 14 months of demolition, renovation, upgrades and improvements will come to an end when the hotel officially opens for business on Monday, April 29, but RB Hospitality’s Rich Batley said the group will cut the ribbon, offer tours and host a little community celebration for the public on May 2.

Batley said dignitaries and community leaders will speak about the project and that hotel staff will offer tours of the completely revamped property.
