Sen. Ron Johnson aware Kramer assaulted staffer, did not tell authorities

A woman allegedly assaulted three years ago by former Assembly Majority Leader Bill Kramer was a Congressional aide to U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Friday that both Johnson and his chief of staff, former Unified Catholic Schools President Tony Blando, were aware of the incident, but chose not to notify authorities or Assembly Republicans, even as they were electing him to a leadership position last year.
