Polls show Sen. Ron Johnson has a tough road ahead

A new post from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s “Wisconsin Voter” blog discusses the difficult path to Sen. Ron Johnson’s reelection — despite the fact that no challenger has even been announced yet.

Polls and political trends show that Johnson’s seat will be one of the toughest for Senate Republicans to hold onto.

The blog cites a recent Marquette Law School Poll that showed that the largest group of voters polled — 45 percent — had no opinion of the senator. 30 percent of those polled said they viewed Johnson favorably, and 25 percent viewed him unfavorably.
