Open house to discuss plans for Rainbow Park

The Oshkosh Parks Department will hold an open house for citizens to view concept plans for Rainbow Park on Monday, Dec. 10. It will be held in Room 404 of City Hall, from 5-6 p.m., prior to the Advisory Parks Board meeting.

“Parks Department staff has been working with Rettler Corporation on developing various concept plans for Rainbow Park, incorporating suggestions that we received at the Public Input meeting on Oct. 30,” Parks Director Ray Maurer said in a statement. “The main focus of the concept plans continues to be improving boat launch traffic flow. However, various park improvements are also incorporated into the concepts.”

Parks Department staff and Rettler Corporation representatives will be available to answer questions at the open house.

The Advisory Parks Board meeting immediately following the open house will discuss development of a preferred master plan for the park.
