Our kitchen project is finally complete.
After having a set of cabinets and the built-in desk taken down and a pantry added, we took on the task of painting the chocolate brown walls a bright yellow color.
That wasn’t too easy. I forgot how difficult it is to cover up a dark color with a light one. But it was worth it, and I’ll think twice about going with such a deep color in the future. That slate gray bathroom might just have to wait!
Getting our kitchen put back was job No. 1 for spring break, and we were able to do that early on in our time off, thankfully.
And now we are enjoying our light wall colors along with new decorations, an updated table and a whole new look.
I have a before and some after photos to share.
