I love theme gift baskets. Not only are they fun to do, but they are fun to receive.
I did a couple at Christmas and am always looking for new ideas.
So last night as I was checking out other things on Pinterest, I spotted ideas for gift baskets. I decided to take a look and an hour later, I was still clicking away.
Two fun, color-related ones really grabbed my attention.
» Box of sunshine. This yellow-themed gift basket would be good for anyone who needs some encouragement, is feeling down or is recovering after a medical issue. Take a yellow container such as a small plastic basket and fill it with as much yellow stuff as you can find. Some of the ones shown included Juicy Fruit gum, yellow Laffy Taffy, lemon drops, yellow nail polish, yellow Post-It notes, Butter Rum Life-Savers, Skittles in a yellow wrapper, yellow M&Ms and Burt’s Bees lip gloss.
» Orange You Glad It’s Summer? This orange-themed gift basket would be perfect for teachers at the end of the school year or for children on the last day of school. Buy an orange fabric bag from a craft store or dollar store and fill it with everything orange that you can get your hands on: Orange Crush soda, Reese’s Pieces, Cheetos and orange silly string.
They don’t have to cost a lot of money, but they are fun. And they show the recipient you care.
