Continuing with basketball through the Blizzard

Lucas finished up his first experience with the high school youth basketball program this weekend.

You know you are onto a good thing when they are sad and disappointed it is over. He not only looked forward to the tournaments but he was more than happy to go to practice, too. Considering that it started in November, that’s a positive indication of how much he loved the experience.

Ben will keep on with his program until state in April.

Basketball is such a great thing to help make the winter seem shorter.

If you are looking for the next thing for your child’s basketball experience, the Wisconsin Blizzard AAU basketball organization still has some openings.

The group will field 49 teams in 2014 for boys and girls in grades 4 through 11. About half of the teams still have openings. For more information go to www.wisconsinblizzard.com or call Bill Weiner (920-378-2323) or Rich Kuranda (920-209-4828).

The Blizzard are celebrating their 12th year and are one of the largest AAU basketball organizations in the country.
