Stats Attack

There was a whole lot going on at Lambeau Sunday for the season home opener. Spreading things around might be an understatement, but it’s the first thing that comes to mind. Aaron Rodgers and company came to play and I was more than happy to try to capture as many moments as possible.

5 This started quick as Randall Cobb broke away for a touchdown against Washington Redskins’ Brandon Meriweather and David Amerson in the first quarter…

2I wasn’t in position for Cobb’s Lambeau Leap, so I decided to focus on Rodgers following the touchdown. Luckily, he was waiting to celebrate …

1I’ve been waiting to see how well balanced the teams’ offense would be this season so when Eddie Lacy went down with a concussion, I wasn’t sure how that was going to play out. Enter James Starks. It was great to see a Packers back run and run and run, for 132 yards .

8That was a pleasant surprise that Aaron Rodgers took full advantage of. Well, you know the story. He went to everyone. Jordy Nelson pulled down two touchdowns. He’s our guest at Clubhouse Live with John Kuhn tonight!

3James Jones was awesome. I thought for sure he was going to break free for a score on this play. Talk about yards after a reception!

4One of my favorite pics was actually a funny moment of Randall Cobb. He had 128 yards receiving, but you know he was hoping for about three more from the look on his face in this shot. At least he had a good sense of humor about coming up short …

6Can’t forget about the defense that kept pressuring Washington Redskins’ Robert Griffin III.  He just had nowhere to go …

9On the day, I didn’t have a lot of “Wow” photos, but I had a good amount of story-telling images. My favorite shot that showed the intensity of the players was a touchdown celebration by Jermichael Finley in the second quarter. He actually scored on the opposite side of the field from me. Luckily he decided to strut and celebrate across the entire end zone, right into my lap!

7The expression on his face really reflects the team emotion on the day. After taking a walk with my wife Lisa this morning, it was nice to see it as our cover image from the game.
