There was a whole lot going on at Lambeau Sunday for the season home opener. Spreading things around might be an understatement, but it’s the first thing that comes to mind. Aaron Rodgers and company came to play and I was more than happy to try to capture as many moments as possible.
I’ve been waiting to see how well balanced the teams’ offense would be this season so when Eddie Lacy went down with a concussion, I wasn’t sure how that was going to play out. Enter James Starks. It was great to see a Packers back run and run and run, for 132 yards .
That was a pleasant surprise that Aaron Rodgers took full advantage of. Well, you know the story. He went to everyone. Jordy Nelson pulled down two touchdowns. He’s our guest at Clubhouse Live with John Kuhn tonight!
One of my favorite pics was actually a funny moment of Randall Cobb. He had 128 yards receiving, but you know he was hoping for about three more from the look on his face in this shot. At least he had a good sense of humor about coming up short …
On the day, I didn’t have a lot of “Wow” photos, but I had a good amount of story-telling images. My favorite shot that showed the intensity of the players was a touchdown celebration by Jermichael Finley in the second quarter. He actually scored on the opposite side of the field from me. Luckily he decided to strut and celebrate across the entire end zone, right into my lap!
