Exclusive: Biden to campaign in Wisconsin following vice presidential debate

Vice President Joe Biden will campaign in Wisconsin on Friday, the day after he faces a Badger State native in the vice presidential debate.

Biden’s wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will accompany him. Additional details of Biden’s visit haven’t been announced yet by the Obama campaign.

Biden and Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan of Janesville debate Thursday night in Kentucky. Thursday’s debate is the only meeting between the vice presidential candidates before the Nov. 6 election.

President Barack Obama also visited the state last week, the day after the first presidential debate. The Obama rally at the University of Wisconsin-Madison drew an estimated crowd of 30,000.

Biden is no stranger to Wisconsin Democrats. The vice president has made campaign stops in Green Bay and Eau Claire in recent weeks.
