The History Museum at the Castle offers treats Saturday in celebration of food-themed exhibit, June Dairy Month

The History Museum at the Castle is handing out free cookies and milk this Saturday, during the run of its food-related exhibit and June Dairy Month.

“Food: Who We Are and What We Eat” features some of Wisconsin’s and the Fox Valley’s iconic food traditions, restaurants and other food-related businesses.

Lamers Dairy and Manderfield’s Home Bakery are providing the snacks for museum patrons.

The museum’s exhibit includes information about both businesses. Lamers Dairy also is participating in celebration of the family-owned business’ 100th anniversary.

The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. It is closed Mondays.

Admission is $7.50 for adults, $5.50 for senior citizens (ages 65 and up) and students with identification, $3.50 for children ages 5-17, and free for children ages 4 and younger. Family admission for two adults and their minor children is $20.
