“Eye of the Tiger” was Survivor’s breakout hit in 1982.

Wisconsin never has a problem landing ’80s acts and St. Nicholas Country Fest is adding one more legacy band to our summer bill.

’80s band Survivor, known for hits such as “Eye of the Tiger” and “I Can’t Hold Back,” will headline St. Nicholas Country Fest in Freedom on August 9.

The concert is the highlight of the two-day event (August 9-10), which is St. Nicholas parish’s largest annual fundraiser. Tickets are $20 and are available at as well as Freedom locations such as the St. Nicholas Parish Office, Freedom Foods, Capital Credit Union and East Wisconsin Savings Bank. Tickets are also available at the gate the night of the concert for $30.

Little Chute band Adams Way will open for Survivor at 7:30 p.m. The Country Fest concert is located at the St. Nicholas Catholic community grounds, W2035 Hwy S, Freedom. For a schedule of weekend activities, go to
