Steve March-Torme is performing in Oshkosh: Grand Opera House on May 17, Leach Amphitheater on June 7.
Steve March-Torme has been dazzling the Fox Valley with his “Snap! Sizzle Pop!” show for some time now, but on June 7, he’ll be hosting something different: a Beatles tribute show at Leach Amphitheater in Oshkosh.
March-Torme, a jazz pop artist and radio personality at Green-Bay based 91.1 The Avenue, will headline the event, “Here, There and Everywhere: A Musical Tribute to the Beatles,” performing a list of Beatles classics and music from Paul McCartney’s solo career. Special guests include Chris Szebeni of Appleton band Boxkar, as well as Appleton native Hillary Reynolds, the Oshkosh West High School Jazz Choir and more. Fox Valley act ON 2 will open the show by performing Beatles songs acoustically.
Known for being the son of legendary jazz artist Mel Torme and also the stepson of actor Hal March, March-Torme moved from California to Wisconsin with his wife circa 2006. Since then, he has established himself as one of the Fox Valley’s elite jazz artists, performing locally as well as major markets such as Los Angeles and New York.
“Here, There and Everywhere” begins at 5:30 p.m. and is a fundraiser for radio station 91.1 The Avenue. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at avenueradio.com or by phone at 1-877-508-9191. Visit stevemarchtorme.com for more information.
