Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons will perform at OuterEdge Stage on May 31.

Appleton native Cory Chisel will present a special benefit concert for CHAPS Academy on Friday, May 31 at OuterEdge Stage in downtown Appleton. The concert begins at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7 p.m.

The concert will mark the first performance for Chisel and his band, the Wandering Sons, at OuterEdge Stage. However, Chisel is no stranger to the venue as just last Thursday, he held a brief solo show at OuterEdge and announced his plans for Mile of Music, a four-day music festival coming to downtown Appleton August 8-11.

The CHAPS concert comes on the heels of the big announcement and will provide a lineup that includes Chisel, Jordin Baas and special appearances by local student singers.

Tickets are $25 per person for general admission seating. VIP tickets are also available.  All tickets may be purchased online at www.chapsacademy.org. No more than 300 tickets can be sold for this exclusive performance.
