The Fox Valley music scene is always percolating. Look no further than Bret Michaels’ latest concert announcement.
The reality rocker hits The Shack in Fond du Lac on Dec. 18 for an all-out rock show and surefire night of wooing. Advance tickets for the event are $35 and go on Friday, Nov. 1. Visit National Event Promotions on Facebook for more details.
Cool Waters Band
Once-upon-a-time local act The Cool Waters Band also celebrates their 20th anniversary this November with back-to-back shows in Kimberly. Cool Waters will host a two-night event at Tanners Grill and Bar Nov. 29 and 30 and will perform songs from their seven studio albums.
“We’re hoping to represent the full 20 years and make sure the two shows each have their own personalities,” said Cool Waters singer Greg Waters in a released statement. “These shows are all about the great people who have been following us all this time.”
Cool Waters, a roots rock band that originated in Appleton in 1993, gained a solid following in the Fox Valley and beyond throughout the late ’90s and mid-Millennium before disbanding in 2007. However, the band still reunites for shows on occasion. Advance tickets for the event are $10 per night or $15 for both shows and will be sold at Tanners (730 Railroad St., Kimberly). Red Light Saints
Fox Valley band Red Light Saints also continues its nationwide tour with ‘80s glam rockers Faster Pussycat this weekend. The five-piece rock band performed their only Wisconsin dates on the tour last week at Luna Lounge in Appleton and J.J. Maloney’s in Kaukauna. The 27-date tour ends Dec. 1 in Tucson, Ariz.
