Local musician Kelsey Kufner was chosen to host a benefit                               concert in Appleton this March.

Appleton musician Kelsey Kufner is working with Palmetto Medical Initiative (PMI) and Seth Bolt of award-winning act Needtobreathe to host a benefit concert at OuterEdge Stage in Appleton this March.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on March 16 and will host a silent auction, door prizes and music by Kufner, Christopher Gold and The Guilty Wanted. The benefit concert is to raise awareness and funds to prevent malaria. There will be a $10 suggested donation at the door.

This local concert stems from Seth Bolt and his brother, Chandler, who will be releasing an eBook Tuesday, March 4 on Amazon.com called “Breaking Out of a Broken System.”

“I applied to be part of the book launch team and was chosen by Seth, Chandler and PMI to put on the benefit concert here in Appleton to reach, and hopefully exceed, their goal of saving 10,000 lives,” Kufner said.

There will be stations at the event where concertgoers can purchase the new eBook and those purchasers will be put into an additional prize drawing.

According to Kufner, for every book sold, the profit will buy one malaria pill. For more information, visit Boltbros.com or watch the video below.
