Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons made their second appearance on late-night TV in support of “Old Believers” last night, paying a visit to “Conan.”
The Appleton native and his band performed “Foxgloves” on the TBS program and also recorded a second song, “Tennessee” (off of 2009′s “Death Won’t Send a Letter”) as an online-only exclusive. “Foxgloves” features Chisel with a full band of Wandering Sons, “Tennessee” with just Adriel Denae.
You can watch the performances below.
Chisel’s first visit to the late-night circuit this year was to perform “This Is How It Goes” and “I’ve Been Accused” on “The Late Show with David Letterman” in July.
The band will be returning to Wisconsin next month for a number of shows. They’ll hit LedgeStone Vineyards in Greenleaf Dec. 15, Milwaukee’s Turner Hall Dec. 18, Madison’s High Noon Saloon Dec. 19 and Lawrence Memorial Chapel in Appleton Dec. 21.
“Old Believers” arrived in June on Readymade Records.
