Video: Cory Chisel jams with Johnny Depp, Ke$ha at Petty Fest West

Last night in Los Angeles, Cory Chisel found himself a part of a Tom Petty tribute event that, when described, sounds much more like something spewed out of a pop culture wood chipper.

Petty Fest West was the event, held at Hollywood’s El Ray Theatre, and among those on hand were members of the Black Keys, members of the Strokes, Ke$ha, Sarah Silverman and Johnny Depp.

One of the night’s highlights (as far as Web perusers are concerned) was the performance of “Mary Jane’s Last Dance,” which saw Cory Chisel and Wandering Son pal Adriel Denae on stage with Ke$ha, Depp, the Black Keys’ Patrick Carney and a slew of others.

RollingStone.com posted a review of the festivities earlier today.

Certainly looks like a good time. Here’s the video.
