Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails waved goodbye in 2009. Four years later, they’ve emerged from the great beyond (Academy Award in tow) with a new album, a run of festival and arena dates and, arriving today, the first new song since “The Slip” album dropped in ’08.
Nine Inch Nails tweeted yesterday that the new album, titled “Hesitation Marks,” will be out Sept. 3 on Columbia Records. The band, which overhauled its lineup for 2013, will headline Chicago’s sold-out Lollapalooza in August and hit a number of cities around the globe in the months ahead.
For a list of the freshly-announced dates which will feature Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed! You Black Emperor and Tomahawk as supporting acts, check out this post from Consequence of Sound.
